Your phone. Your keyboard. Your PC.
Set up voice input on Android, send text to your Windows cursor, and move useful files to your PC.
Connect Android and Windows
- 1
Open both apps on the same WiFi
Keep CursorFlow running on Windows and connect your Android phone to the same local network. This guide covers the phone controls; the Windows screens are in the main documentation.
- 2
Pair with the Windows QR code
Open Pairing on Windows and scan its QR code with the phone. Confirm the connected PC before sending text or a file. Pairing connects your devices; approving desktop sign-in connects your account.
- 3
Review your phone settings
Use Settings to review your connected device and input preferences. Enable only the permissions needed for the action you are using.

Android settings and device preferences.
Set up the voice keyboard
- 1
Enable CursorFlow Keyboard
Open keyboard setup and choose Enable Keyboard. Turn on CursorFlow in Android’s keyboard settings. Allow microphone access for speech input. The setup screen also shows floating window permissions for overlay controls.

Enable the keyboard and review the requested permissions. - 2
Select it as your keyboard
Choose Switch Keyboard, select CursorFlow Voice Keyboard in Android’s keyboard picker, and confirm your choice. You can return to your regular keyboard whenever you need it.

Choose CursorFlow Voice Keyboard in the Android picker. - 3
Speak and review your words
Open a text field on your phone and tap the microphone. Check the recognised words before using Send. Android keyboard input and sending text to Windows are different destinations; confirm the intended app or connected PC first.

The voice keyboard provides microphone and Send controls.
Dictate from your phone to your PC
- 1
Place the Windows cursor
Click the text field where the words should appear, such as an email draft, document or editor. Keep the paired PC connected.
- 2
Speak on Android
Open the phone’s voice screen and tap the microphone. Speech recognition happens on the phone. English, বাংলা and हिन्दी are supported with automatic language detection.

Speak on the phone and review the text in the voice console. - 3
Send the text and check the destination
Review your words, then send them to the connected PC. Only text travels over local WiFi for dictation; your voice stays on the phone. Confirm the text appears at the Windows cursor before continuing.
Send files, images and documents
- 1
Choose your attachment
From the phone’s attachment controls, choose an image, PDF or document. Check the selected filename and preview before sending. Both devices must remain on the same WiFi.
- 2
Send to the paired PC
Confirm the connected Windows device, then send the selected item. File transfer sends that file over the local network; it is separate from voice dictation, which sends only recognised text.
- 3
Review activity and open the received file
The Activity screen shows recent items. Check the transfer status, then open the received file on Windows to confirm the handoff. For a failed transfer, start again with one small file rather than sending several at once.

Activity brings recent text and file handoffs together.
Troubleshooting on Android
- 1
The keyboard does not appear
Check that CursorFlow is enabled in Android’s keyboard settings, then select it again from the keyboard picker.
- 2
The microphone is not responding
Check CursorFlow’s microphone permission in Android Settings and try a short voice input again.
- 3
Text or files do not arrive on Windows
Check the same WiFi connection, paired device and running Windows app. For text, click into a writable field. For files, inspect Activity and the Windows receiving location.
