From a small room
to Cursor Fllow.
No investors. No big team. Just a need to solve my own everyday problems, and the determination to keep going.
My name is Prince Ruhul. I am a self-taught solo product builder from Sylhet, Bangladesh.
I do not have a Silicon Valley office, investors, a prestigious degree or a co-founder. The product you see today, Cursor Fllow, was not built by a large technology team. It came from a small room, financial hardship, frequent power cuts and three years of setbacks as I struggled to find my own way forward.
Leaving school and finding my own path

In 2022, after Grade 10, I left formal education. Without institutional support, I began teaching myself coding, system design and software development.
My family had very little money. My father ran a small retail shop, where I also had to help regularly. I tried hard to find a co-founder or partner, but none of my friends had a technical background. With no money and few resources, I could not find a technical partner willing to build with me.
I was completely on my own.
Electricity bills, a job offer and family pressure
During those financial difficulties, I received a job offer paying BDT 15,000 a month. Despite intense pressure from my family, I turned it down because I believed I could build something meaningful.
After refusing the job, I faced daily criticism and harsh words from my family and people around me. I worked at my computer for three to six hours a day, with power cuts often interrupting me every hour. With an unreliable WiFi connection, I kept going by candlelight or on my laptop’s battery.
At times, I used the money saved for our electricity bill to keep my project’s servers and domains running, leaving the household bill unpaid.

Night after night, I cried alone, blamed myself and wondered whether I was wasting my life.
The ideas that never made it
Cursor Fllow did not appear overnight. Over the past three years, I worked on hundreds of ideas, but none of them took off. Some of the projects in that long list of setbacks were:
- Pocket Fit Pro
- Audio Social Media
- Facebook voice commenting, because text does not always convey how people really feel
- An alternative platform to YouTube
- Deal Flow Insider, a platform for finding investors and co-founders
- Night Mind, an AI-powered to-do list
- Prevalid
- One Memory, Emotional Intelligence and several projects on GitHub aimed at addressing social problems in Bangladesh
Every time a project ended, I felt I might never succeed. But every failure taught me how to build the next system better.
Why I needed to build Cursor Fllow

I do not work in a corporate office. I work from my room, and a few everyday problems kept getting in my way.
I wanted to finish my work, not keep typing
I do not enjoy typing, and my handwriting is not good either. When I used Google’s built-in voice typing, I struggled with incorrect words, missing punctuation and constant corrections.
The same copy-and-paste routine, all day
My English is not very strong. I would speak or write a message on my phone, send it to myself on WhatsApp, open WhatsApp Web on my PC, then copy and paste it into my work. I used the same roundabout process for photos and files. Doing this fifty times a day was exhausting.
A quieter way to work, on my own terms
I am an introvert. Speaking loudly into my laptop’s microphone at my desk feels uncomfortable. I needed a tool that could make my phone a personal voice layer. I wanted to hold it to my ear, speak naturally and have the text arrive directly where I was working on my PC. I also wanted to send photos and files over local WiFi.
Cursor Fllow began as a way to solve these personal frustrations.
A $9,000 domain and one extra “L”
When I went to buy a domain for the product, I found that cursorflow.com cost around $9,000. I had never seen that much money together in my entire life.

Instead of giving up, I added one extra “L” to the name and used the little money I had left to buy cursorfllow.com.
Not separate tools. One workflow.
The idea behind Cursor Fllow is to bring your phone and PC together as one productivity system.
- Phone-to-PC voice input: Speak on your phone and send text into your work on your PC.
- Two ways to speak: Use your PC microphone at your desk or your phone’s microphone, whichever feels right.
- A voice keyboard on your phone: Speak, type and edit within the same workflow.
- Local file sharing: Send files and photos from your phone to your PC without detours through WhatsApp or Drive.
- Work in your own comfort: Choose how you provide input without feeling uncomfortable around others.
My goal is one workflow instead of several disconnected apps. You can find the current plans and features on the pricing page.
A final word
Cursor Fllow is not the polished creation of a large marketing agency. It is the result of one determined young person’s hard work, tears and refusal to let go of a dream.
If you dislike manual typing, struggle to move files between devices or simply want a quieter way to work in your own comfort, this product was built with you in mind, too.
Thank you for supporting me and this journey that started from nothing.
